About
I’m a gal living in Madison, WI who is finding herself happily immersed in a world of food. I work at a natural foods co-op, am serving in an AmeriCorps Farm to School program, and pursuing my health counselor certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I’m a newbie gardener and blogger, and am very excited about them both. This blog is a chronicle of the adventures, explorations, thoughts, feelings and images of one year spent reading, growing, cooking, harvesting, exploring, photographing, processing, and of course EATING.
I hope this blog will also spark dialogue and exchange, so please share your own experiences too! Tips, recipes, poems, pictures, thoughts… I know I would love to hear all of them.
stephanie my dear – i am SO excited for your blog! i cannot wait to read more 🙂
Launched! I am proud of you lamb! I very much anticipate being a part of your food explorations from afar. *Love*
Congratulations on your blog! I noticed your comment on Smitten Kitchen about not being able to find local flour in Wisconsin. You may want to check out this vendor at the Dane County Farmer’s Market -http://www.dcfm.org/detailsv.asp?product=garlic&ID=9, Brantmeier Family Farm. We have always enjoyed their wheat flour products.
hi sandy,
awesome tip! thank you so much! we would LOVE to have some local flour, and haven’t had any luck so far. we’ll check them out on saturday. 🙂
cheers,
stephanie
I just ran across your blog. Saw my baby boy with Ann Cooper. Great photo. Great blogging. You’ve inspired me to get back into it. I used to do it regularly. I certainly also enjoy processing the world around me through imagery and word. Keep doing what you do!
