This is my attempt at synthesizing and documenting a year immersed in food. Selling food, preparing food, learning about food, teaching food, growing food… I’m doing a little bit of everything these days. By day I alternate between working at my local food cooperative and serving in AmeriCorps Farm to School in foodie Madison, WI. By night, I am a cupcake loving Julia Child adoring kitchen junkie, always looking to try new recipes out with my sweetie and our two cats. I’m also pursuing a certification in Integrative Nutrition Health Counseling. In the process, I’m learning about food from a more health based framework than I ever have before.
This is where I will be sharing my dreams and realities, ponderings and amusements, recipes and articles and anything else that might come out of a year such as this. I hope that it might be interesting to other folks interested in food out here in the internets- please share your thoughts as well!
